Sr. Logistics Coordinator
Background & Purpose of the Job
Assumes responsibilities as Warehouse and Freezer Logistics Coordinator, directly overseeing all 3 shifts in the Warehouse and 2nd shift Freezer.
Who You Are & What You’ll Do
Oversee logistic functions to ensure compliance with the defined procedures and systems while identifying and implementing best practices. Responsible for but not limited to; Warehouse SOP and OPL updates, material damage claim inventory reversals, factory forklift & DOT master trainer, factory logistics EWM superuser, EWM open warehouse tasks management, shift outbound staging and truck loading schedules, tagging and staging of QA holds on finish good pallets, and finish good inventory reconciliation. Must also actively participate in logistic continuous improvement ideas with an awareness of how to use performance measures to identify and prioritize losses in the production area. Direct coordination with 2nd shift production on day to day tasks. Accountable for developing department personnel, administration of HR programs, and department/plant safety, quality, and service goals.

What You’ll Need to Succeed
High School diploma or equivalent GED. Minimum 5 years of logistics experience. 3 years of team leader experience. 3-5 years of forklift certification. Knowledgeable in EWM, SAP, OTM, Microsoft Office and Excel.
Varying temperatures and a warm and wet environment. * Work environment will be split between dry warehouse environment and -20F freezer environment * Ability to work other shifts may be required to cover other leads or supervisors in the event of absences * Work in logistics operations is 5 days per week and 24 hours per day. Work on Saturdays is assigned often during the busy season and will be a few Sundays per year when work is assigned. * High noise areas * Chemical use and handling * Continuous bending and lifting up to 100 pounds repetitively * Occasional pushing/pulling up to 100 pounds
