Work Hours: 0600-1430



Position Purpose:

Under supervision of the Supervisor, the incumbent accomplishes stripping and laying of floor finish and carpet care, upholstery and furniture care, for Renown Regional Medical Center, Renown South Meadows Medical Center, Renown Skilled Nursing and Renown Rehab Facility Other duties dependent on department; Cleaning of Large kitchen equipment, Refrigerators, Freezers, Locker room, Breakroom, Hood vents, Walls, Steam tables and assist in dish room as needed, Cleaning of the equipment in the doctors lounge (200510, 200511, 400511, 410511 and 740510).


Nature and Scope:

The incumbent performs daily tasks relating to stripping and finishing the floors in the facility and maintaining the tile flooring. This position is also responsible for carpet cleaning throughout the facility, and the cleaning of upholstered furniture. A major challenge to this position is the necessity to perform floor care functions in areas that are heavily congested or heavily traveled.

Minimum Qualifications:  Requirements - Required and/or Preferred


Must have working-level knowledge of the English language, including reading, writing and speaking English.


One year experience in housekeeping field or general maintenance required. Experience in a health care setting preferred.





Computer / Typing:

Must possess, or be able to obtain within 90 days, the computers skills necessary to complete online learning requirements for job-specific competencies, access online forms and policies, complete online benefits enrollment, etc.
