385458Requirements:This individual will be responsible for the coordination and completion of high level initiatives that affect the entire organization and various functional areas. This individual will be in charge of coordinating and managing the high level initiative to improve the Medicare Star Ratings. Typically, employees in this function are working towards or have achieved certification in project management. This individual will provide subject matter expertise in areas including project scope definition, risk identification, project methodology, resource allocation, facilitation, and other areas of expertise based on established project management techniques. This individual will ensure that projects are completed on time and in scope. Incumbents may be part of a project management office (PMO) in their business.Additional Responsibilities include:* Managing and documenting the status and opportunities for this high level initiative.* Managing project justification and analysis and results.* Creating, monitoring and updating project plans that focus on the Star Ratings.* Serving as a central resource for project subject matter.* Networking with all health plan departments participating in the project.* Coordinating with multiple departments to complete work plans and assigned tasks.* Developing reports to meet business needs and coordinating with other departments when needed.* Ensuring updated documentation is available for business critical processes.* Maintaining ongoing self study and participates in class-based study programs to enhance personal, business and technical skills.Competencies:SKILLS: Proven ability to complete assigned project and lead this initiative through collaboration with multi-functional areas and teams throughout the organization to meet project deadlines. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Ability to arbitrate and resolve technical/business issues and conflicts.KNOWLEDGE: Knowledge of health insurance plans, medical, finance and general business systems.
