Process Engineer Job Description:

This position requires a B.S. in Chemical Engineering and at 5+ years of engineering experience in a chemical manufacturing environment. Duties will include troubleshooting plant process problems, coordinating process hazard reviews, process engineering support for project engineering work, coordinating process group activities related to the development of improved or new processes, and evaluation, approval, and implementation of operating procedures and training programs in the areas of efficiency and cost.

Lastly, this position is responsible for developing and maintaining the process knowledge of the facility including aspects related to maintenance, safety, cost/efficiency, and quality. A candidate with a strong background in process instrumentation/control and process statistical control/6 sigma techniques is highly desirable.
