Skills / Requirements
HS Diploma or GED required.
6 + months of professional experience in an office setting using the telephone and computer as the primary instruments to perform job duties.
6 + months of professional experience in a clerical or administrative support role.
Current CPR certification or ability to obtain one after hire required.
- Healthcare or insurance benefits experience helpful.
- Working knowledge of Medical terminology/Coding (ICD-9 and CPT) helpful.
- Experience in a hospital, physician, or medical clinical environment helpful.
- Working knowledge of Medicare and/or Medicaid helpful.
- Proficiency with applications such as MS Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Word, Outlook, Other clinical databases, Internet explorer, or other web browsers helpful.
