I.Position purpose / scope: This position is responsible for the overall operations of the Count Room. Duties include: oHire, train, evaluate, supervise, discipline and counsel employees. oCount and process in-coming currency and coin. oEnsure adherence to Gaming Control standards II.Functions and responsibilities: Essential: oSupervise, counsel, hire/terminate, train count team employees. oAdhere to Nevada State Gaming Control Board gaming regulations, Cannery Hotel Casino Internal Controls and MICS (Minimum Internal Control Standards). oPrepare work schedules. oAbility to problem-solve. oPerform special projects as needed. oCommunicate effectively in English with co-workers and upper management. Non-essential: oContinue the growth and development of staff.

Skills / Requirements

III.Knowledge and skill requirements: Essential: oGood verbal and written communication skills. oOne to two years of hard/soft count experience. oUnderstanding MICS & the Cannery?s Internal Controls (ICs) for Drop and Count. oManage and supervise staff. oReconcile and perform general math calculations. oKnowledge of Cash handling & processing skills. oKnowledge of computer applications & various count room equipment.
