Overview
The Application Support Specialist is an industry expert that primary focuses on training and supporting software modules that they have an expertise in. They are tasked with becoming an expert on all software modules sold and supported by Agilysys. When working the support hotline they are responsible for assisting, advising and consulting in after hours client support.
Responsibilities
* Provide the majority of user training to the client on computer system installs.
* Responsible for client support on location or on-call.
* Maintain a good working knowledge of all products and services sold within HSG.
* Have a conceptual knowledge of products and be able to determine trends in support calls to that would indicate problems within products.
* Enhance / modify training documentation to fit client needs.
* Perform and participate in in-house training when possible.
* Must maintain and promote strong client relationships.
* Administrative understanding of product used for logging and tracking support calls.
* Motivate and promote healthy working conditions within support department and installation department.
* Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
EDUCATIONAL AND TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS:
* 3 years minimum of industry related experience.
* Strong communication skills.
* Strong training skills.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS:
* Traveling required.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
* High ethical standards.
* Capable of multi-tasking.
* Ability to communicate with and between multiple skill sets.
